What do you call a sentence that uses every letter in the alphabet, anyway? It’s called a pangram. These unique clauses are sentences that have all the letters of the alphabet. There are many out there. No doubt, “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” has become the most widely used pangram, but there are dozens more. Some of them actually sound like pretty decent sentences that are practical for casual conversation.
Others will get you a one-way ticket to the insane asylum if you utter them in a public setting. Check out 26 of my favorite, and most amusing pangrams.
